2. Evergreen

This is the first complete song I wrote.

Flying like a butterfly,
Over the meadow, under a clear sky.
     Whither do i go?
     I am here no more...

Resting by the forest path alone.
Untouched, utouchable, clear light shining through.
     Now moving on...
     Ever here yet endlessly gone.

We'll sail across the sea,
     Just you and me.
And when we've reached the farther shore,
     The land of honey and ancient lore
     Opens 'fore our eyes.
Then I'll take your hand
     And together we will stand and gaze....

I'll tell you what i know:
     Everything in this whole world
     Is pointing to You.
And He said; "Neither low nor high..."
     With a twinkle in His eye.
